We offer a flexible pricing option where you determine appropriate compensation based on the value you receive. This isn't about working for free—it's an experiment in building professional relationships that go beyond simple transactions.

How it works

2. All affected parties agree to participate in this model
3. We deliver the work
4. You evaluate the output and the value it brings
5. You provide compensation based on what feels right to you

This approach requires trust on both sides. It's not for every engagement, but when it works, it creates something more meaningful than a standard invoice.

Our Rates

For those who prefer traditional pricing (and that's perfectly fine!), here's what we charge:

These rates cover professional AI services: strategy consulting, custom development, integration architecture, deployment support, and training. Use our AI Project Cost Calculator for detailed estimates. For longer engagements or fixed-price contracts, let's talk—we can work something out.

Terms of Engagement

Here's the stuff that keeps accountants and lawyers happy. We keep it straightforward:

Payment

• Invoices are due within 7 days
• Overdue amounts attract interest at 2% above the bank base rate
• For longer projects, we invoice monthly
• We may request advance payment for expenses or project security

Expenses

Reasonable expenses (travel, accommodation, materials) are reimbursable at cost. We'll agree these upfront—no surprise bills.

Confidentiality

Your information stays confidential. We won't share it except where needed to do the work or where legally required. Simple as that.

Intellectual Property

• Your data and pre-existing IP remains yours
• Work we create specifically for you becomes yours upon full payment
• We retain rights to our methodologies, tools, and general know-how—the stuff we brought to the table

Engineering Tool Outputs

Our free engineering calculators (IEEE 485 Battery Sizing, Hydrogen Venting, ROI Calculator, and others) are provided as decision-support tools. By using them, you acknowledge:

• No certified engineering analysis: Calculator outputs are estimates based on published standards and typical parameters. They do not constitute certified engineering analysis or professional advice.
• Independent verification required: All outputs must be independently verified by a qualified engineer before use in design, procurement, or compliance documentation.
• No liability: EthosPower accepts no liability for decisions made based on calculator outputs, including but not limited to equipment sizing, safety compliance, or financial projections.
• Your outputs are yours: Any results, reports, or PDFs generated by our tools belong to you. We do not retain or claim rights over your calculation outputs.

AI-Generated Content

When using our AI assistant (EthosAI) or any AI-powered features:

• AI responses are generated in real-time and may contain errors or inaccuracies. They should not be relied upon as the sole basis for engineering, legal, or financial decisions.
• Content generated by AI during your session is not stored by EthosPower beyond the active session unless you explicitly opt in.
• You retain ownership of any prompts, inputs, or data you provide to the AI assistant.

Termination

Either party can end an engagement. If you do, you pay for work completed up to that point. No hard feelings.

Insurance

We maintain professional indemnity and public liability insurance. We're covered, and so are you.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Portugal and the United Kingdom, depending on the specific engagement. If there's ever a dispute (we hope not!), we'll try to sort it out amicably first.

Client Care

We commit to:

• Delivering competent, professional service
• Fair and transparent pricing
• Clear, honest communication
• Handling any complaints fairly and promptly

AI Usage Policy

We use AI responsibly, and we expect the same from anyone using our AI-powered services. Here's what's not okay:

Prohibited Uses

• Illegal stuff: Controlled substances, human trafficking, IP theft
• Infrastructure attacks: Messing with power grids, water systems, medical devices
• Security threats: Malware, hacking, bypassing security controls
• Weapons: Designing weapons, explosives, or chemical/biological agents
• Harmful content: Violence, hate speech, extremism, CSAM
• Privacy violations: Unauthorized surveillance, facial recognition, impersonation
• Misinformation: Fake news, election interference, deceptive content
• Fraud: Scams, phishing, pyramid schemes

High-Risk Applications

For sensitive areas like legal advice, healthcare, finance, or employment decisions:

• Human review is required before outputs reach end-users
• You must disclose that AI assisted in the work

Enforcement

Violations may result in throttling, suspension, or termination of access. Report concerns to ethics@ethospower.ai.
